Meet the Team

  • Mollie Leisinger

    OWNER

Artist and educator Mollie Leisinger founded SayDoSay Pottery Studio. Obtaining a Fine Arts degree from UNL was a fascinating adventure that led to teaching art in Lincoln Public Schools for nearly a decade. She took the leap to open up her home studio in 2020, where she created work to sell and also taught classes. It became a quick reality that classes were popular and being sought after and it was time to grow into a bigger space. The universe led her to a perfectly charming building nestled in the downtown Bethany neighborhood. She rolled up her sleeves (and those of many of her family and friends), and together they brought the space to life. Mollie loves learning, sharing, teaching, creating, and connecting with people in the community. Teaching is a passion of hers and she feels incredibly grateful to have been able to create a space that inspires and allows so many ideas to come to life.

  • Estes

    STUDIO DOG

Little Miss Estes is Mollie’s best friend and is at the studio whenever Mollie is there. When you come into the studio, she will greet you with a wagging tail and loving energy. She will do a proper meet and greet and then find her comfy spot and snooze while everyone creates.

  • Mason Myers

    INSTRUCTOR

Mason is a Lincoln native who comes to us with many years of pottery experience. A former pottery student of Mollie’s (owner of SayDoSay Pottery Studio) while she taught at North Star High School, Mason specializes in throwing on the pottery wheel. He also enjoys and has become a master of experimenting with glaze applications. When he is not at the studio you can find him enjoying the great outdoors and practicing his photography. As one of the instructors at the studio, Mason’s goal is to make sure that everyone taking classes with him is provided with the instruction and guidance needed to be successful in creating on the pottery wheel and to make sure that students are having a great time while doing so.

  • Sierra McComb

    INSTRUCTOR AND STUDIO ASSISTANT

Originally from Bellevue, Nebraska, Sierra now lives here in Lincoln. Sierra achieved her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2023. She enjoys spending her time expanding her creative abilities through creating a variety of different pottery forms on both the wheel and with hand building as well as experimenting with glaze combinations. As one of the instructors at the studio, Sierra’s goal is to help her students discover their creative abilities and to have fun during the creative process.

Why the name SayDoSay?

The name SayDoSay is inspired by the concept of following through on what you say you are going to do. It goes like this - say what you want to do, then do that thing you want to do, then share that thing with others - that completes the Say ♡ Do ♡ Say cycle. SayDoSay Pottery Studio is here to inspire you to create and help make your ideas come to life.
